Our name honors the pioneering spirit of the first European settlers who arrived in New Baltimore in 1796, laying the foundation for the vibrant community we cherish today. At Brasserie 1796, we celebrate this heritage by offering European-inspired cuisine infused with the best local ingredients, all crafted in our scratch kitchen. Here, tradition and innovation come together to create a dining experience as rich and timeless as the story of our city.

Our restaurant is currently under construction, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to bring you a space that’s as warm and welcoming as the food we serve. We look forward to opening our doors in late summer 2025, and can’t wait to host you at Brasserie 1796.
